Latest Guild News:
- There has been recent attempts to start a fire at both Brinklow and Monks Kirby. In each case lighted candles were put inside cupboards
that contained flamable materials. Please keep an eye open for suspicious activities near your church.
- Radford Semele church was gutted by fire on Sunday 16th March - only the stone walls are standing. The tower roof is off and therefore
the outlook for the bells is not good. There has been a most kind offer from Offchurch to ring their bells until such time as there is
a ring back at Radford. Pictures of the damaged church can be seen here. The bells have been removed
by Taylors and are likely to require recasting.
- The Annual Report is currently being distributed. Unfortunately there is a mistake in Page 57 where two peals are repeated and three
missed out. If you would like to replace this page in your report you can get a copy of it here
- There is an Open Day in aid of the Kineton Augmentation Scheme. It takes place on 21st JUNE and NOT 21st July as in some newsletters. Details are on the Newsletter page, link at the top of this page.
- Can we remind members that it is a great help to those preparing for a meeting if you forward their names for tea as requested.
- It was decided at the AGM to finance two bells, one at Kineton and the other at Brinklow, in memory of Harry Windsor, a stalwart of this Guild.
If you would like to make a contribution to this please send it to Simon Rogers, address in the Officers Section, and please, if you are a tax payer,
also consider Gift Aiding it by using this form.
We can then increase the value of your donation by reclaiming the income tax you have paid on this donation.
