Welcome to our website.
Postcodes for each tower have now been added to the Tower Directory. Please ensure that you are aware of the correct one for your own tower and
have a notice stating this, and any local emergency contact numbers, clearly displayed in your ringing rooms. Increasingly emergency call
centres are being centralised and not knowing your postcode could easily delay the arrival of the emergency services.
It is also good practice to meet the emergency services at the nearest main road. The postcode stated may well be that of the
vicarage, for instance, as not all church buildings actually have a postcode.
Latest Guild News:
- Ringing has temporarily been suspended at Warwick, St Nicholas, a report
from a structural engineer indicates that a large amount of work is needed on
the spire.
- We are sad to report the death of Marion Gilbert of Napton on the Hill on February 1st. Her funeral took place on February 9th
- We are also sad to report the death of John Thornton of Warwick, aged 89,
and Graham Forester.
- Tom Griffiths is ran the London Marathon on the 26th April to raise money for the bell project at Brinklow. If you
are interested in sponsoring him visit this web page. The ringers are
also recycling old mobile phones. Please consider passing over any that you have.
- A document with regard to the new Child Protection Legislation was distributed at the AGM. Each tower should receive a
copy with their Newsletter. If needed, a copy may be downloaded from here
- Kineton bells will be dedicated by Bishop John (Warwick) during the 10.30 service on Sunday 28th June. For Bell ringers the
timing is not good but hopefully an effort can be made. Ringing beforehand. There will be refreshments and some (limited) ringing after
